Friday nights at PajebyNight are wild! Every week we have a themed party to keep clients, guests and staff amused. Last week there was a "Bling Bling" party, with the finest hip hop tunes and lots of gangsta style!
At PajebyNight there is a a great feeling of team spirit amongst the girls, hotel clients and staff, we need little excuse to get dressed up and party together.
As I have already mentioned, glitter always seems to make it's way into our days and the party nights are no exception. At some point the glitter comes out and within minutes almost everyone is covered!
My friend and instructor Mia (whom I met in Taiba) was celebrating her last night in Zanzibar. We're all sad see her leave but know she's off to another beautiful island paradise and will been on the water again very soon
.
In true PBK (PajebyKite) tradition she left in her 4am taxi to the airport absolutely covered in glitter!! When I say absolutely, I mean absolutely! From head to toe she was twinkling brighter than the Blackpool Christmas illuminations!!
She had four flights to catch. Four trips through immigrations and customs to get through. We later found out that she got stopped and questioned in each one! Not surprising really, considering the fact she looked like she'd just left a Thai-style full moon party!
There is a great vibe here in Paje, the instructors from the other 5 kite schools are all great fun and really nice people. We hang out and party together, it's a quite special thing. I have seen in other spots around the world, that sometimes there is a rivalry between neighbouring kite schools. I hope the people living here manage to keep this great feeling of a close knit kite-community forever!
