We recently met two possible future world champions in Icarai de Amontada, Ona and Lucio from Argentina!!
Ona and Lucio we're lucky enough to move to the kite paradise that is Ceara. As they live right on the beach learning to kite was a natural progression. They were taught by their father Luciano (Da praia Brasil) but these days they don'y need so much help from him!
As you can see the pair can mange perfectly well together...
On and off the water!
We had an awesome day sharing the water and beach with these little rippers! It's great to see kids really getting into the sport at such a young age. They learn so fast! For sure if they keep learning at this rate they will be future champions for sure!!
At the end of the day it was time to say good-bye to some friends as they headed on a mammoth down wind (with no beach support!!) home to Jeri! Jessica winkler and Nick Hall hit the water with their backpacks and headed into the sunset and towards Jeri! Super cool way to get home!! All in all we met some amazing people on our travels up to Icarai de Amontada and during our stay at De praia Brasil! Hopefully we'll catch up with them again next season.
