One of the Blondes faveorite Brazilian things is Tapioca. When she first moved to Brazil she couldn't stand the flavor and texture but now loves it simple but unique taste.
The way you make Tapicoa hasn't changed for at least a hundred years. Using a traditional rala coco to scrape out the coconut meat from the shell, goma (mandioca flour) and a little bit of sweat (sometimes even blood!) magical tapioca is made.
My friend Giselle likes her tapioca the traditional way served with coffee. She drinks her coffee dark, strong and sweet... just like her ;)! I likes tapioca with fruit salad and yogurt which my Brazilian friends think is just plain weird!
What both the Blonde and the Brunette do agree on is that Tapioca is best served with friends and plenty of laughter!
