This is a quick wrap up of the past year at my other blog for the Brazilian newspaper Diario de Nordeste. I run the blog with my best friend and fellow kite chick the journalist Giselle Nuaz.
The idea to call the blog Uma Loura e uma Morena came to us as we were on the road, everywhere we went people would stop, watch us head to the beach with all our kiting gear and exclaim "Esshii uma loura e uma morena" (wow a blonde and a brunette!). Or on the rare occasions when we were spotted alone people would always ask "Cade a morena?" or "Cade a loura?" (where is the brunette, where is the blonde?!). To us it was hilarious, we decided to let the nickname stick and the blog Uma Loura e uma Morena was born!
This blog post is a little different from what we normally do, it's a picture review of our favourite posts from the past year! It's been so much fun going through all our pictures, lots of giggling going on! We hope you enjoy our little end of the year gift to you and thank you so much for your support throughout the year!!!
